Chizzy Taabu Orwa, MBA, BCom

Chizzy Taabu Orwa is the Director of Operations at Poverty and Health Integrated Solutions (PHIS). A Project Management Professional in the Telecommunications and Information Technology industry, Chizzy has 14 years executive-level experience in project management, operations management and stakeholder management in both public and private sectors. Her experience covers infrastructure planning, budgeting, implementation, change management, supply chain management and vendor/partner management.

She has been in the centre of organization business process reengineering and development of Enterprise Resource Planning and Systems in improving organization operation efficiency. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree in Strategy and Supply Chain (Daystar University, Kenya), and a Bachelor of Commerce in Procurement and Logistics Degree from the same university. She also holds certification in Understanding Diversity and Cross-cultural Training (Nanyang Technology University, Singapore) and Senior Manager Leadership Programme (SMLP) (Strathmore Business School, Kenya). She belongs to PMI Kenya Chapter (Project Management Professional Body). At PHIS she has overall responsibility for financial, operations and human resource management, together with associated policies and systems. Chizzy brings to the organization a wealth of experience and expertise in operations management, project management, talent management, stakeholder management and exemplary negotiation skills.
