Victoria N. Wamalwa


Victoria Wamalwa is a seasoned finance management professional with vast experience in finance, administration and human resource management in development and humanitarian sectors. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) (Daystar University, Kenya), a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) Degree (University of Nairobi, Kenya), a Higher Diploma in Institute of Management Information Systems (IMIS) and certificates in leadership training (Strathmore University, Kenya). She is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K), as well as a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).

She has over thirteen years’ experience in financial management, grants management, financial and donor reporting, budgeting and budget management, auditing, operations and compliance. She has been at the centre of project conceptualization, initiation, project cycle and closure management, capacity building and mentoring young professionals. Victoria has previously worked for ACORD, WE EFFECT (Formerly Swedish Cooperative Centre), Plan International, World Neighbours, Global Communities, KEMRI/University of California, San Francisco and Save the Children-Somalia/Somaliland as a Finance Manager. She has also been a key staff member on grants funded by the Africa Development Bank (ADB). Victoria brings to the organisation a wealth of experience and expertise in prudent financial and grant management, human resource management, project management, as well as administration.
